They roast in small batches and claim the bags are fresh. I had a brew and it was great, so probably true.
I spoke to Lance, the owner and roaster, and he took good care of me when I explained why I needed really fresh. They were busy doing a catering job, but he roasted the next day and packed up a pound right out of the machine for me. And it was awesome coffee perfectly roasted.
